Beloit, KS – The Mitchell County Historical Society is honored to announce that Retired United State Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Ronald L. Mastin will be in Beloit, KS on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 2 PM at the Beloit High School, 1711 N Walnut, Beloit, KS for a program about personal accounts of a Vietnam War P.O.W. Ron Mastin was born and raised in Beloit. He started his Air Force career in 1963 and retired in 2007. Mr. Mastin spent 2,239 days as a Prisoner of War in Vietnam from 1967 to 1973. This program will give the public an amazing opportunity to hear firsthand accounts about the Vietnam War and they will be able to ask questions. The program sponsored by the Mitchell County Historical Society and is free to the public. Donations are welcome.
